THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.7480 of 2025 O R DE R: The present writ petition is filed seeking for payment of salaries for the period the Petitioner worked as Forest Beat Officer in the department of 4th Respondent pursuant to the interim orders by this Court dated 29.09.2023 in W.P.No.25628 of 2023 till the age of superannuation of 62 years. 2. The Petitioner was appointed on contract basis as Forest Beat Officer on 18.09.2006 and has been continuing in the said post. While so, the State Government had amended the age of Superannuation from 60 to 62 years by amending the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Regulation of Age of Superannuation) Act, 1984 vide G.O.Ms.No.15, Finance (HR.IV- FR & LR) Department dated 31.01.2022. 3. The Petitioner filed W.P.No.25628 of 2023 for continuation of services till the age of 62 years. This Court had passed an interim order on 29.09.2023 in the writ petition directing to continue the Petitioner till attaining the age of 62 years. Pursuant to the Judgment of this Court in W.P.Nos.21294 of 2023, a batch 2 of writ petitions filed by similarly placed persons as that of the Petitioner was dismissed by this Court on 10.05.2024. 3. In the present case, the grievance of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner should be paid salary for the period he worked as Forest Beat Officer pursuant to the interim orders of this Court dated 29.09.2023. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the claim of the Petitioner is examined and salary would be paid for the period he worked as Forest Beat Officer on contract basis. 5. In that view, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondents to pay the salary to the Petitioner for the period he worked beyond the age of 60 years on the strength of the interim order passed by this Court dated 29.09.2023 in W.P.No.26528 of 2023. This exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
