The instant Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioner, seeks following reliefs: “In light of the above submissions, it is humbly prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to:- i. Direct the respondents to provide immediate and adequate security to petitioner Taosif Memon, Shobha Singh and their family. ii. Direct respondent authorities to ensure that Shobha Singh is handed over to the petitioner for care and protection, especially in her present vulnerable pregnant condition. iii. The, petitioner most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass suitable direction/writ to the enquiry be monitored by this Hon’ble Court. iv. Any other relief or reliefs that mya be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may kindly be granted also. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the State submits that the corpus/respondent No. 6 has given birth to a baby and is presently under proper medical care being provided by a medical team. As regards the merits of the present case, it is apparent from the record that the petitioner and respondent No. 6 are legally married and both are majors. Respondent No. 6 has given birth to a baby and, in view thereof, the present petition be disposed of directing the Superintendent of the concerned Sakhi Centre where the respondent No. 6 / Corpus is 3 confined, to allow her to go according to her own wishes along with her baby. 3. At this stage, learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 5 and 7 submits that they may be permitted to meet the corpus and to bless the newborn child. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he has no objection to the said prayer. 5.
