1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent No.2 for payment of the balance amount AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Digitally signed by AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Date: 2025.01.22 17:21:25 +0530
2 Rs.9,57,800/- towards the supply of plastic items as per supply
order dated 28/02/2023.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that pursuance to the Rate Contract, the respondent No.2 issued a supply order dated 28/02/2023 to the petitioner for supply 190 pieces of 20 liters buckets, 600 pieces of 1liter mugs and 548 pieces of 80 liter swing type dustbins. The petitioner supplied the plastics articles to the respondents, however, the final payment towards his final bill has not been made by the respondent No.2 till date. He further submits that he has already moved a representation dated 14/06/2023 to the respondent No.2, but no steps has been taken on the representation filed by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State/respondent submits that if the amount is not in dispute and the petitioner has already supplied the articles as per the said supply order, the respondent No.2 will verify and examine the same, thereafter, necessary steps will be taken to release the payment as claimed by the petitioner.
4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties and perused the pleadings.
5. Having considered the submission made by learned counsel for the parties, particularly considering that the petitioner has already filed a representation before the respondent No.2/Assistant Commissioner, Tribal & Scheduled Caste Development
3 Department, Raigarh, C.G., it is directed that the respondent No.2 verify and examine the claim raised by the petitioner and if the articles as per the supply order dated 28/02/2023 has already been supplied by the petitioner, the undisputed balance amount be released to the petitioner within a period of fifty days from today.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
disposed of. SD/-
