The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding respondents no.2 and 3 to provide job to elder son of the petitioner and to pay additional compensation for the acquired land comprising of land of Plot No. 140 area 0.1020 hectare situated in Village- Bajhera, Pargana & Tehsil- Sadar, District- Agra and to decide his representation dated 22.04.2024 made in this behalf. 2. The case of the petitioner is that his land was acquired by the respondents and he is entitled to benefit of a Government Order dated 03.09.2010 whereunder there is provision for payment of additional compensation and providing job to one member of the family. 3. It is evident from the documents placed on record that an award in respect of the subject land was declared on 30.05.2011. 4. Sri Pratik J. Nagar appearing on behalf of respondent no.2 submits that respondent no.2 will consider and decide representation filed by the petitioner in this behalf. 5. Sri Vivek Ratan Agwarwal, appearing on behalf of NTPC submits that NTPC has no concern in the matter as the acquisition was for the benefit of Power Grid Corporation. 6. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to decide the representation within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order alongwith photocopy of the representation.
