This is the first bail application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.06/2025 registered at Police Station – Kawardha, District - 2 Kabirdham (C.G.) for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 34 of the IPC 1860. 2. Learned State Counsel pointed out that the offence under the Chhattisgarh Protection of Depositors’ Interest Act was also added during the course of investigation along with the BNS offence and is therefore not maintainable as per the provisions of the said Section. 3. However, learned counsel for the applicant submits that he prays for permission to withdraw the present application with liberty to file afresh. 4.
