Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution praying for issuance of directions to the official respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent No.4. 2. Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3 at this stage. 3. Mr. T.P.S.Walia, learned AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the aforesaid respondents. Learned State Counsel, in view of the Standard Operating Procedure/Instructions dated 23.01.2025, issued by the Government of Punjab and after obtaining instructions from the quarter concerned, apprised the Court that petitioners can approach the Authorities concerned on Mobile No.98760-06364 i.e available 24 x 7, “Sakhi One Stop Centre”, District Mohali. 4. In view of the above, present petition is disposed off with liberty to petitioners to approach the quarter concerned. 5. Needless to say that in case an occasion so arises, petitioners would be at liberty to avail the remedy as per law.
