It is further submitted that pursuant thereto, the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Deputy Ranger in accordance with the rules. 3. It is also stated that the petitioner has been granted full pay and allowances for the period of suspension, treating the said period as spent on duty. 4. In view of the above developments, the dispute involved in the present petition no longer survives for adjudication and has been amicably resolved between the parties. 5. Accordingly, the matter stands compromised and the petitioner may be disposed of in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties.
