THIS CONTEMPT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLE 215 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA R/W SECTIONS 11 AND 12 OF THE CONTEMPT OF COURTS ACT, PRAYING TO PUNISH THE ACCUSED FOR DISOBEYING THE ORDER DATED 10.01.2024 PASSED BY THE COURT IN W.P.NO.105820/2022 (LR) PRODUCED AT ANNEXURE-A, IN THE INTEREST OF JUSTICE AND EQUITY.

THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.DEVDAS AND THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE K V ARAVIND ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.DEVDAS) Learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
Learned Government Advocate submits that the directions issued by the learned Single Judge have been complied, inasmuch as the name of the petitioners is restored in the RTC Column No.12.
2. However,
learned counsel for the petitioner- complainant submits that the directions issued by the learned Single Judge is that the entries in favour of the petitioners were standing as on the date when the order was passed by the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal and therefore pending
consideration of the matter before the Assistant Commissioner,

the entries in favour of the petitioners were required to be restored in Column No.12. Therefore until the matter is considered by the Assistant Commissioner, the name of the petitioners have to remain in the RTC.
3. Accepting the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner – complainant, the contempt petition stands closed. However, the entry of the name of the petitioners in Column No.12 in the RTC shall await the orders that would be passed by the Assistant Commissioner in the pending disputes.
