Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:65060 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5535 of 2025 Petitioner :- Lal Mohammad Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Manoj Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,K.P. Verma Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The petitioner claims that he is entitled to revision of his pension. He has made a representation before the competent authority but to no avail. The only prayer made by Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation of the petitioner may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri K.P.Verma, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.4 and 5 submit that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority in light of the applicable provisions of law in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that his claim for revision of pension is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In wake of the submissions made at the Bar and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No.5- Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad Bhadohi, District-Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi) is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner regarding revision of his pension after taking appropriate approvals or inputs from the competent authorities as per law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. All the other respondents are directed to cooperate with the respondent No.5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
