1. In the present petition, the challenge is to the order dated 19.11.2006 (Annexure P-1) whereby recovery has been ordered for retaining the official accommodation beyond entitlement.
2. The writ petition was filed 17 years ago and interim order was granted and as of now, the petitioners have already retired from service. Keeping in view the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in State of Punjab and others Vs. Rafiq Masih (White Washer) etc., 2015(1) S.C.T., 195, wherein it has been held that no recovery can be done from a retired employee, the respondents are directed not to effect any further recovery from the petitioner on account of the impugned order.
