Petitioner has sought enforcement of an order dated 05.10.2016, passed by Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The said order was passed pursuant to direction issued in a writ petition and petitioner’s claim for notional promotion was accepted, and it was provided that petitioner shall be given notional promotion as Principal from the date of promotion of his junior w.e.f. 20.02.2009. 4. As per the pleadings made in the writ petition, despite the order passed by Additional Chief Secretary, as aforesaid, the monetary benefits have not been paid to petitioner. 5. Today, when the matter was called out, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has lost contact with his client; the writ petition was filed in 2016 and he does not know as to whether the benefit of the order has been given to the petitioner or not. 6. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the competent authority, claiming benefit pursuant to the aforesaid order, if such benefit has already not been given to him. If petitioner makes such representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by the competent authority, within four months from the date of its receipt.
