The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chhatarpur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 272/273/290/414/120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 47(a) of Excise Act, pending in the court of Sri P.N. Upadhyay, learned JMFC, Palamau at Daltonganj. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.6738 of 2024 by order dated 27.08.2024. Petitioner is the driver of Hywa, which was seized by Chhatarpur Police loaded with six thousand litres of spirit. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since28.05.2024. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri P.N.
