Jai Bhima Rao, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioners; Sri G. Arun Showri, learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1; Sri P. Narahari Babu, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.2; and Sri G. Venkata Reddy, learned Counsel for Respondent No.3 2. This Writ Petition is filed declaring the inaction on the part of the Bar Council of India (Respondent No.2) in not conducting elections to the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh (Respondent No.3). During the pendency of this Writ Petition, the same issue was considered by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in W.P.(C) No.1319 of 2023. 3. The Hon’ble Apex Court, vide Order dated 18.11.2025 in W.P.(C) No.1319 of 2023, has issued final directions to the Bar Councils, including the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh. Insofar as the State of Andhra Pradesh is concerned, in Para 12(II) of the Order, the Hon’ble Apex Court had directed that the entire election programme, including counting of votes and subsequent declaration of results, shall in any case be concluded on or before 28.02.2026. 4. In view of the above directions of the Hon’ble Apex Court, no further consideration is necessary, inasmuch as the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 5.
