Disha Chowdary, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri Mannam Venkata Krishna Rao, learned Counsel for the Respondents. 2. The present Contempt Case is filed by the Writ Petitioner in W.P.No.10345 of 2024, complaining of non-compliance of the para 6 of the Order passed by this Court on 02.05.2024. 3. Para 6 of the Order reads as under: “Having regard to these facts and circumstances and also the Order passed by the Learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.17958 of 2023, dated 07.08.2023, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present Writ Petition with a direction to the Respondents to consider the case of the Writ Petitioner to the post of Senior Assistant in terms of the provisions contained in G.O.Ms.No.257, General Administration (SER.C) Department, dated 10.06.1999.” 4. The sole Respondent has filed a Counter-Affidavit in this Contempt Case on 08.04.2025. G.O.Ms.No.257, General Administration (SER.C) Department, dated 10.06.1999, has also been placed on record along with the Final Order passed on 01.11.2024, which is in compliance of the Order passed by this Court on 02.05.2024 in W.P.No.10345 of 2024. 5. Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent has drawn the attention of this Court to para 6 of G.O.Ms.No.257, General Administration (SER.C) Department, dated 10.06.1999. Learned Counsel would also submit that the Respondent Authorities have considered the effect of G.O.Ms.No.257 and passed the Final Order on 01.11.2024, declining the request of the Petitioner for promotion. 6. This Court would not go into the merits of the decision taken by the Respondent Authorities while passing the Order dated 01.11.2024. This Court 3 has perused para 5 of G.O.Ms.No.257, as pointed out by Sri Nuthalapati Mohan, learned Counsel for the Petitioner appearing online. 7. This Court has also perused para 6 of the said G.O.Ms.No.257, as relied upon by the learned Counsel for the Respondent. 8. Having considered the contents of the said G.O., as well as the Final Order passed by the Official Respondents declining the request made by the Writ Petitioner vide Order dated 01.11.2024, this Court is satisfied that the Official Respondents have complied with the Order of this Court dated 02.05.2024 in W.P. No. 10345 of 2024. Accordingly, this Court is of the view that there is no contempt. 9. Hence, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs. 10.
