His Prisoner No. is CT-1582. The petitioner claims that he is eligible for his transfer to the open jail, but his case is not processed in accordance with the Rule 549 of Chapter XXIV of the Uttarakhand Prison Rules, 2023. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is eligible for being transferred to the Open Jail, but his case is not being considered by the authorities. 4. Learned State Counsel would submit that the petition may be disposed of with the direction to the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer to the Open Jail. 5. In view thereof, writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer to the Open Jail.
