Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No.159 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2197 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribag. On 06.08.2024 at about 7:30 A.M., husband of the informant was shot dead by unknown persons near Lakhe cemetery. Suspicion has been raised against named accused persons that they might have committed murder of the deceased as they had earlier threatened him of dire consequence. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that from the impugned order, it transpires that only allegation against the petitioner is that he was one of the conspirators in the murder of the deceased. It was finally submitted that co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribag, in connection with Muffasil P.S.
