ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: I. Issue a Writ of Certiorari quashing impugned communication issued by the 2nd Respondent bearing No.67-B/07/2016-17 dated 30.01.2017 (produced as Annexure-A) and bearing No.67- B/07/2016-17 dated 24.03.2017(produced as Annexure-B); and.

II. Declare that the Respondents have no sanction of law to levy and collect stamp duty in respect of the transactions referred to in the impugned notices (produced as Annexure-A & B);and the demand for payment of stamp duty for the said transaction is in violation of section 3 of Karnataka Stamp Act; and
III. Issue such other Writ or order as deemed necessary, in the facts and circumstances of the above Petition, in the interest of justice & equity.”

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners’ Bank is now merged with Canara Bank and despite having sent several letters to the petitioners seeking for instructions, he has not received any instructions.
3. If that be so, it appears that the petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the matter. The petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
4. In view of dismissal of the petition, all the pending applications are stand disposed of.
