The petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no.3 to pay compensation to them in respect of their land comprising of Gata No. 735 area 0.057 hectare. 2. The case of the petitioners is that the respondents are raising construction over their aforesaid land under Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme without acquisition or payment of compensation. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the instructions received from S.D.M., Meza, Prayagraj dated 14.05.2025, according to which, a water treatment plant has been constructed in the vicinity of the land of the petitioners after due demarcation of the land of the petitioners. The respondents have denied having used any part of the land of the petitioners. 4. Leaned counsel for the petitioners disputes the correctness of the demarcation exercise held by the respondents. 5. As the dispute relates to demarcation of plot, therefore, we leave it open to the petitioners to apply for demarcation under Section 24 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act, 2006, in which event, the application, if any, is filed by the petitioners shall be decided in accordance with law. 6. The writ petition is disposed of.
