The case of the petitioner, in a nutshell, is that some unknown miscreants have encroached on the aforesaid water body and unauthorizedly put up a thatched hut besides dumping there, all waste materials, garbage and blue metals and if the miscreants are permitted to continue their illegal act, the water body will vanish into thin air very soon. 3. Mr. K. Karthik Jaganath, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the official respondents, submits, on instructions, that notices dated 07.05.2025 under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, have been issued to the Page Nos.3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents to take the matter to its logical end at the earliest.
