This petition has been filed by the petitioner with a challenge to order dated 17.10.2016, whereby the candidature of the petitioner was rejected as he was not found eligible for recruitment to the Post of Lecturer Technical Education Computer Engineering. 2. Vide interim order dated 20.10.2016, the petitioner was allowed to appear in the interview. 3. Vide orders dated 22.03.2022 and 14.10.2025, the Court directed the learned counsel for the respondent to furnish the result of the petitioner for perusal in a sealed cover before this Court. 4. Today, the learned counsel for the respondent has placed before the Court the result of the petitioner as well as his cut off marks. [2025:RJ-JP:46803] (2 of 2) [CW-14746/2016] 5. The petitioner is said to have secured 42 marks and the cut off marks of the last candidate recommended from the reserved list in the ST/ General categories is 56. 6. In view of the above, the petitioner is not found to be in merit list even if he is declared to be eligible. 7. In view of the above, there is no merit in the present writ petition. 8. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed. 9. Result of the petitioner be returned to the learned counsel for the respondent in a sealed envelope. 10.
