JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Sri.Jai. M.Patil., learned counsel is directed to accept notice for respondent No.1. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a. "ISSUE a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent to close the Loan Account of the Petitioners bearing Account No XOHEBAN00001000233 as having been fully paid vide ANNEXURE-B. b. DIRECT the Respondent to return all the documentation original or otherwise relating the property mortgaged for the loan account bearing No XOHEBAN00001000233. c. Grant any other relief that this Hon'ble Court see fit in the interest of justice and equity." 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representations which have been submitted by the petitioner for closure of the loan account of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43405 WP No. 4768 of 2024 petitioner to the respondent has not been acted upon. 4. Whenever any representation or application submitted for closure of the loan, it would be for the Bank to reply to the same, at the earliest. The same not having been done, I pass the following; ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued, directing respondent to reply to the application/representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from date of receipt of copy of this order. iii. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner for closure of the loan account. iv.
