This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the Petitioners for the following relief: “to issue a Writ, One in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Wirt, Direction or Order questioning the action of the 3rd respondent in not disposing the appeal vide Rc.B6/2774/2023 U/s.9 of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act 1971 of land an extent of Ac.2.03 Vz cents in Sy.No.76-11 situated at Epurupalam Village, Chirala Mandal, Bapatia District is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and against the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act 1971 and rules there under and pass 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The Writ Petition is filed, aggrieved by the action of Respondent No. 3 in not disposing of the revision filed under Section 9 of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, in respect of land admeasuring Ac. 2.03½ cents in Sy. No. 76-11, situated at Epurupalam Village, Chirala Mandal, Bapatla District. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed an application before the respondent authorities on 07.08.2023, seeking correction of entries in the revenue records. Pursuant thereto, Respondent No. 3 took the matter on file as a revision and issued notices dated 22.12.2023 to Respondent No. 5, fixing the hearing for 06.01.2024. ::4:: Although one adjournment was granted, despite the lapse of two years, Respondent No. 3 has neither considered the application nor passed any orders. Hence the writ petition. 5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and upon perusal of the records, this Court is of the considered view that the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing Respondent No. 3 to consider the petitioner’s application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as Respondent Nos. 5 and 6, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
