Roy, Advocate --- 02/28.02.2025 Heard the parties. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giridih (M) P.S. Case No. 241 of 2024 (S.T. No.531 of 2024) for the offences registered under sections 109/118/115(2)/126(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Giridih. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 8257 of 2024 by order dated 28.11.2024. On 18.07.2024, son of the Informant was assaulted by the petitioner and co-accused persons, due to which he sustained grievous injuries. It is specifically stated that the petitioner had given rod blow on the head of injured while co-accused Mantu Rawani has given sword blow. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that charge has been framed in this case and prosecution has examined only two witnesses. Learned counsel for the Informant submitted that only two witnesses remain to be examined and trial is likely to be concluded soon. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned trial court shall dispose of trial as expeditiously as possible. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
