(ORAL) Mr. Ankur Mehta, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.4 and 5 and has filed his power of attorney. The same is taken on record. He has stated that respondent No.5 had never extended such threat.
2. Learned State counsel has submitted that he has received a photocopy of duly sworn affidavits dated 12.05.2025 of the petitioners from Inspector Ajaib Singh, SHO P.S. Ambala Cantt. to the effect that the petitioners do not have any apprehension of threat as of now. The affidavits are taken on record.
3. Since none has put in appearance despite repeated calls and keeping in view the specific affidavits of the petitioners submitted by the State to the fact that the petitioners do not apprehend any danger to their life, the instant petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
