Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record. 3. A perusal of the representation dated 06.03.2025 submitted by the petitioner revealed that the petitioner sought for police protection in respect of the vacant land situated at MGR Nagar, North Street, Natham Survey No.289/19- 0.01.20 ares 00120 sq.mtrs. Further, it is seen that there is a property dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 herein. Therefore, the petitioner ought to have approached the Civil Court for appropriate relief. That apart, the police protection can be granted only to the life and limb of a person. In view of the above submissions, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be granted and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
