The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to take a positive decision in respect of the claim of the petitioner to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) with effect from his completion of State Forest Service (SFS) course and further to consider and recommend his case for nomination to the Indian Forest Services (IFS). 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader places on record an order dated 25.7.2017, whereby, according to him, the claim of the petitioner has been considered and has been rejected. 3. In the light of the said submission, the prayer made in the writ petition would not survive for consideration. The petition is, therefore, DISPOSED OF as become unnecessary. Rule is discharged. 4. Liberty, however, is reserved to the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 25.7.2017 in the manner known to law.
