This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer; "(A) To Direct the Principal Judge Family Court Maharajganj to decide the Case No. 18 of 2024 pending before learned Principal Judge Family Court Maharajganj under Section 25 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 expeditiously. within stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended that an application under Section 25 of the Guardians & Wards Act, 1890 is pending consideration which has been registered as Case No. 18 of 2024. The sole prayer made in writ petition for expeditious disposal of the said case. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondent, with a direction upon the Principal Judge, Family Court, Maharajganj to decide the Case No. 18 of 2024, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
