Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. 2. Commercial quantity of Ganja was seized from the joint possession of the accused persons including this petitioner. In view of the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner’s prayer for bail, at this stage. 3. The application for bail is, thus, dismissed. 4. Learned advocate for the petitioner says that the petitioner gave birth to a baby in the Alipore Women’s Correctional Home on January 14, 2025. On the ground of health of the baby, learned advocate for the petitioner prays for bail. 5. We are not impressed with the argument. We understand from learned State advocate that there are at least twenty other inmates in Alipore Women’s Correctional Home who are similarly circumstanced and have babies. We direct the Superintendent, Alipore Women’s Correctional Home to extend all necessary aid to the petitioner and the newborn baby and ensure that they are both taken well care of insofar as their heath is concerned. 6. Learned Registrar General of this Court is requested to communicate this order to the Superintendent, Alipore Women’s Correctional Home. 7. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8.
