GP FOR IRRIGATION COMM AREA DEV The Court made the following: 3 VS,J W.P.No.32171 of 2023 ORDER: The present writ petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: <.…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in not releasing the amount of Rs.8,44,194/- to the petitioner even after completion of works vide Agreement No. 235/2018-19 and Agreement No. 228/2018-19 entered with the 5th respondent under the Neeru-Chettu Scheme, even after finalizing the bills way back in 2019 as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also opposed to the settled principles of law, and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith release the total amount of Rs.8,44,194/- payable to the petitioner for the completion of works Agreement No.235/2018-19 and Agreement No. 228/2018-19, entered with the 5th respondent under the Neeru-Chettu Scheme ….= 2. Head learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation. 3. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation has furnished a copy of the proceedings of the Executive Engineer, I.B.Division, Ananthapuramu, vide letter dated 22.09.2025, wherein it is stated that the due amounts of Rs.3,51,842/- and Rs.4,19,350/- were paid to the petitioner vide CFMS Token No.2025-729810, RBI RBI S.N.62025092018580834 and Token No.2025-731787, vide RBI RBI SN 62025092018580835, dated 20.09.2025. 4 VS,J W.P.No.32171 of 2023 4. Recording the same and since the bill amounts payable to the petitioner have already been paid by the respondents, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause survives in this writ petition. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
