1. The instant petition has been preferred by the petitioner(s) seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to grant annual increment to the petitioners after fixing their pay in the scale of Rs.4000-100-4800-EB- 100-6000/- from the date of their initial appointment in the year 2002 and 1st ACP in the year 2012 after completion of 10 years of regular service in view of the Haryana Civil Services (Assured Career Progression) Rules, 2008.
2. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that as regards their grievances mentioned in the petition, the petitioner(s) have already served a legal notice dated 10.06.2024 (Annexure P-11) to the respondent(s) and they would be satisfied in case respondent No.2-Director General, Transport Department, Haryana, is
directed to consider and decide the said legal notice by passing a well reasoned and speaking order in a time bound manner.

4. Ms. Tanisha Peshawaria, DAG Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondents-State and submits that she has no objection to the aforesaid prayer being granted.
5. With the consent of the parties, the present petition is accordingly disposed of without commenting on the merits of the present case and with a direction to respondent No.2-Director General, Transport Department, Haryana to take note of the legal notice dated 10.06.2024 (Annexure P-11) served by the petitioners and to pass a well reasoned and speaking order thereupon after granting an opportunity of hearing to the respective parties in accordance with law and preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
