ORDER: This criminal petition has been filed, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking for granting of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner-accused in crime No. 39 of 2025 of Kothapatnam Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 118 (1) and 351 (3) read with Section 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short, 'the B.N.S.').
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner-accused and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.
3. The petitioner-accused earlier filed Criminal Petition No. 7353 of 2025 seeking for granting of pre-arrest bail through Sri Sreenivasa Rao Velivela,
learned counsel, and the same was dismissed by this Court by order dated 18-08-2025. Suppressing the said fact, the petitioner-accused filed the present criminal petition for the very same relief but by a different learned counsel.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that in the course of investigation, Section of law was altered from 118 (1) of 'the B.N.S.' to 118 (2) of 'the B.N.S.' on the ground that one of the victims suffered grievous injury in the hands of the petitioner-accused.
5. Sri Andukuri S.L.N. Raju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner- accused, submits that he is not aware of passing of the earlier order by this Court. There are no merits in the criminal petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

6. The criminal petition is accordingly dismissed.
