Heard Sri Challa Sivasankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent Nos. 3 & 4 are pressurizing the petitioner to compromise with the unofficial respondents and withdraw the complaint dated 28.08.2023 filed against the unofficial respondents. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that as the dispute was a family dispute, the police initially advised the petitioner and her husband to attend counseling. While the petitioner sought time, the 5th respondent failed to attend the counseling. Thereafter, the petitioner lodged a report seeking registration of a case 4 against respondent Nos. 5 and 6. Based on the said complaint, a case was registered in Crime No. 65 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Dowry Prohibition Act against the unofficial respondents. 5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
