GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue an appropriate writ, order direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS, declaring inaction of the respondents is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the directions of this Honble Court, and violative of my fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, consequently, directing the respondents to conduct proper and fair investigation in Crime No. 78 of 2025 of Vadamalapeta Police Station, Tirupati District, by collecting CCTV footage of Seetharamapuram village, call data of the accused, and to file the final report/charge sheet before the competent court within a time-bound period- and to pass ” 2. Heard Sri A.Ramaiah Sravanam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.78 of 2025 and file a final report. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime taking into consideration the points raised by the complainant and file charge sheet in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
