This Court, by order dated 04.03.2025, declined to grant interim order to the petitioners, based on the instructions submitted by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. Questioning the said order dated 04.03.2025, the.petitioners filed a writ appeal vide W.A.No.267 of 2025, and after hearing the parties, the Division Bench of this Court passed the following order: 3. “6. The prayer of the appellants, in the Writ Petition, is to direct the revenue authorities not to interfere with their possession over the land which is said to be in occupation. The revenue authorities have conducted a survey, whether legally permissible or not, and have concluded that the occupation of land by the petitioners is not in public land and is in private land. 7. In that view of the matter, this Writ Appeal is disposed of holding that the revenue authorities shall not interfere with the possession of the petitioners over the lands that are said to be in occupation and as identified by the revenue authorities to be in private land. I 3 8. It is open to the private owners of land, if the petitioners are inoccupation of such land, to take steps according to law.” 4. In view of the same, the counsel for the petitioner represents that no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. 5. Taking into consideration of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and order dated 24.03.2025 passed in W.A.No.267 of 2025, the Writ Petition is closed in terms of order passed in W.A.No.267 of 2025, dated 24.03.2025.
