The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 343 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 309(4) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. On 21.09.2024 at about 3:30 P.M., the informant was waylaid by four unknown persons near Bypass Road, Tarripatra, Gumla. The miscreants looted away his motorcycle and mobile phone. From the impugned order, it appears that looted mobile phone was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since 04.11.2024 and chargesheet has been submitted in this case. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
