Petitioners have filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the record relating to petitioner’s matter. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent authorities i.e. respondent no. 01 and 2 to take proper and prompt action in applications/representations (Annexure- P/7) & also kindly direct them to decide the same within stipulated time, preferably within a period of 3 weeks in the interest of justice. 10.4 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deem -t and proper according to the facts and circumstances of the case along with the cost of the petitioners.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the Tehsildar, Pendra, District- Gourella-Pendra/ Respondent no. 3 had issued a memo dated 26.06.2023 asking the petitioners to submit reply on grounds as mentioned in the memo. Petitioners have already submitted reply on 05.07.2023, however, proceedings initiated by Tehsildar/Respondent no. 3 has not been concluded. He further submits that another representation is filed before the Collector for passing of an appropriate order, however, the said representation is also pending consideration and therefore, direction be issued to Tehsildar/respondent no. 3 to conclude the proceedings and pass proper orders on the proceedings (Annexure P-03) within specified time. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners and also that the petitioners are not pressing on the merits of the case, he has no objection. Proceedings initiated will be concluded expeditiously, if pending. 4. In view of submission made by counsel for respective parties, nature of grievances raised before this Court by counsel for petitioners, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 3 to conclude the proceedings initiated by him vide Annexure P-3 dated 26.03.2023 and to pass appropriate orders expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date 3 of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court, if not already concluded. 5. With the aforesaid direction, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
