The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- <…to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the respondents in imposing condition of production of FDR for the value of Rs.2 lakhs for releasing the seized stocks of 150 quintals of rice in RCB.No.458/2015 dated 16-11-2015 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to release the seized stock of 150 quintals of rice to the petitioners without insisting for production of FDR for the value of Rs.2 lakhs, and pass such other or further orders…=

When the matter came up for admission, on 26.11.2015, this Court passed the interim order directing the respondents to release the seized stock of 150 quintals of rice to the petitioners without insisting for production of FDR for the value of Rs.2 lakhs, pending disposal of the writ petition. 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Ms.Harika Ashok, learned counsel representing Mr.C.Subodh, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that, in pursuance of the interim order granted by this Court on 26.11.2015, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition and requested to close the same. 4. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. 4
