The Court made the following: ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondent No.3 not to call the writ petitioner to the 3rd respondent Police Station of Gurramkonda, Chittoor District.”
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Police are not calling the Petitioner to the Police Station and no crime is registered against the Petitioner.
3. Sri K.Jitendra, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the Police not to call the Petitioner to the Police Station.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Respondents – Police are directed not to call the Petitioner to the Police Station in the absence of any crime registered against her. There shall be no order as to costs.
