Ms. Pooja Nayar Sharma, DAG, Punjab. ***** Manisha Batra, J.(Oral) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of appropriate directions to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of official respondents No.6 to 12. Reply has been filed by learned State counsel as per which, the respondents have not visited the premises of the petitioner nor he has been asked to appear. It is also submitted that no FIR has been registered against the petitioner and that there is no danger to his life and liberty. Learned State counsel submits that if the petitioner is required to be called for any purpose, due notice shall be given to him. In view of the this fact, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition be disposed of but liberty be granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, if need so arise. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with the liberty aforesaid.
