The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of the Respondents in not paying encashment of earned Leave, Surrender of Earned Leave, Gratuity and Group Insurance, totallying Rs.24,32,910/- as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner had retired from service as a Junior Technical Officer on 31.01.2025 in Respondent No. 5 Office. After the retirement, though the Petitioner was partially paid the amounts towards retirement benefits, the amounts claimed in the present Writ Petition were yet to be disbursed. 3. Sri S. Sarat Kumar, learned Government Pleader for Services-II passed on the written instructions dated 24.11.2025 signed by the Respondent No.5, wherein it is stated that the amounts due to the Petitioner have been processed and there are no pending bills pertain to the Petitioner in the office of the Respondent No.5. He further submits that the the said bills were uploaded in CFMS portal and waiting for fund clerance from the Government. As regards, the Grauity amount, the same will be 3 processed by the Sub Treasury Office, Anantapur, and there is no data about Gratuity in the office of the Respondent No.5. 4. Heard the respective counsel. 5. Considering the fact that it is admitted by the Respondents regarding entitlement of the Petitioner towards retirement benefits notwithstanding the dipsute regarding quantum of surrendered earned leave, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: i) The Respondent Authorities are directed to disburse the amounts entitled to the Petitioner, including the Gratuity, with the applicable rate of interest as provided under the rules within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
