ORAL JUDGMENT
The appeal is filed in 2018. Despite granting sufficient opportunity, appellant has not taken steps.
2. Matter was listed on
21.04.2025. None appeared for the appellant on the last date of hearing. This Court had passed the following order:
“Appeal is filed in 2018. Despite granting sufficient opportunity, appellant has not taken steps.

The matter was listed on 22.03.2025, at the request of learned counsel for the appellant finally a week’s time was granted to take steps, failing which, the appeal shall be listed for dismissal. Even today, case called twice, none appears for the appellant. From the perusal of the order sheet it disclose that appellant is not interested in taking steps. However, to meet the ends of justice, finally two weeks time is granted to take steps, subject to the payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- payable to the Advocates Association, Bengaluru, failing which, the appeal shall be listed for dismissal after Summer Vacation -2025.”

4. None appears for the appellant.
5. It shows that the appellant is not interested in taking steps. In view of the peremptory order, I do not find any grounds to grant further time for taking steps and also the appellant has not deposited the cost as ordered by this Court vide order dated 21.04.2025
Accordingly, the appeal stands dismissed for not taking steps.
