This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue an appropiate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the

action of the Respondent No.2 in not initiating any action against the respondent No.4 despite the complaint dated 12.08.2021 as he is repeatedly calling the petitioners to Police Station and threatening and insisting the Petitioners to settle the Dispute pertaining to husband of the petitioner No.1 and the father of petitioners No.2 and 3 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, improper, violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the Police Standing Orders and consequently direct the Respondents No.2 to consider the complaint of the petitioners dated 12.08.2021 and direct them not to call the petitioners to the police Station.”
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that a crime has been registered against the petitioners. 4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime registered against the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.
