The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 24.7.2024 passed by this Court in Writ-C No. 13260 of 2024. Proceedings under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 are decided by the Assistant Collector and the Collector under Section 67(5) of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 hears the appeal passed against the order of the Assistant Collector. The proceedings are still pending before the Assistant Collector. In view of the aforesaid, no cause of action exists against the Collector of the District. The counsel for the applicant prays that the present contempt application be dismissed as withdrawn to enable him to file a correction application before the concerned Court for correction of the order dated 24.7.2024.
