The petitioner alleges that the complaint lodged before the Executive Director, Retail Sales West Bengal State Office is pending consideration. 3. Learned advocate representing the private respondent submits that, there is no scope for consideration of the complaint of the petitioner as the same was not filed within the prescribed time period. 4. None represents the Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The union of India is represented by the learned advocates. 5. Be that as it may, as it appears that a complaint was lodged before the aforesaid authority and the same is pending consideration for a considerable period of time, accordingly, without entering into the merits of the 2 same, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Executive Director, Retail Sales West Bengal State Office being the respondent no. 3 herein to consider the said objection filed by the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6. A reasoned order shall be passed by the aforesaid respondent and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 7. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward the copy of the representation posted on 21st October, 2024 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court. 8. The writ petition stands disposed of. 9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
