1. Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :- BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Digitally signed by BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Date: 2025.11.22 10:49:42 +0530
2 i). That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No.3 to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner within stipulated period. ii) That, any other relief which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice along with cost of the petition.”
2.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has challenged the order of Tahsildar, before the Sub-Divisional Officer in appeal filed U/s. 44 (1) of the C.G. Land Revenue Code, 1959 (In short ‘the Code of 1959’). The appeal was heard by appellate authority, however, the
order is not passed, therefore, a direction be issued to the appellate authority to consider and take final decision on the pending appeal within specified time.
3. Learned State counsel submits that as per his instruction, appellate authority will pass the order in accordance with law expeditiously with shortest period of time.
4. Perusal of the order-sheet would show that on 01.10.2025, case was fixed for orders. In the aforementioned facts of the case I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing respondent No.3 to pass orders in appeal of petitioner pending before it expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from the next date fixed.
5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands
disposed of. Sd/- (Parth Prateem Sahu) Judge Balram
