This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to the respondent authorities to release the petitioner’s approved Group Insurance amount of Rs. 1,10,828/- along with applicable interest, to refund the illegally deducted amount of Rs. 950/- to the petitioner and for issuance of direction to release the encashment amount for the remaining 56 days of earned leave. Learned counsel for the State on instruction vide memo dated 07.01.2025 would submit that other allowances of the petitioner like GPF, GIS, FBF, Shahid Rajesh Pawar Samman Nidhi, leave encashment except for the period from 24.08.2024 to 18.10.2024 which is 56 days pension, gratuity and additional pay have been paid to the petitioner, as such, most of the grievances of the petitioner is redressed.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents have not considered the petitioner’s medical certificate submitted by him for adjusting his leave from 24.08.2024 to 18.10.2024, thus, he would pray for allowing the petitioner to file afresh duly constituted petition confining his relief to that extent only.
4. Prayer is allowed.
5. With aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty in favour of the petitioner.
