This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in converting the existing irrigation tank namely ‘Ramasagaram Cheruvu’ in an extent of Ac.15.70 cents in Sy.No.489/1 of S.M.Puram Revenue village, Fareedpeta gram panchayat, Etcherla Mandal, Srikakulam District to provide house sites to the beneficiaries under ‘Navaratnalu – Pedalandariki Illu’ scheme in gross violation of Board Standing Order 15(4) as well as G.O.Ms.No.510 Revenue (LANDS-I) Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh dated 30.12.2019. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondent authorities concerned will follow the due procedure with respect to the subject land. 4. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the respondent Nos.2 to 4 are directed to deal with the subject land to an extent of Ac.15.70 cents in Sy.No.489/1 of S.M.Puram Revenue village, Fareedpeta gram panchayat, Etcherla Mandal, Srikakulam District, if not already used by now for the above said public purpose of housing scheme, strictly in accordance with law, if so warranted for any public purpose. 4 HBKM,J W.P.No.9288 of 2020 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Interim order if any deemed to have been vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.
