IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A. B. A. No. 1179 of 2025 Rupesh Ram ….. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand ….. Opposite Party ----- CORAM HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioner: Ms. Kismanti Minj For the State: Ms. Mohua Palit, A.P.P For the Informant: Mr. Shashank Shekhar ----- 02/28.02.2025 Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with the case registered under Sections 341/323/376/504/506 IPC has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s prayer for anticipatory bail was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 03.09.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 2752/2024. By way of present anticipatory bail application, the petitioner has renewed his prayer for anticipatory bail on the ground that he is suffering from cancer and as such he is not in a position to surrender before the concerned Court below. 4. Learned counsel for the informant while opposing the petitioner’s prayer for anticipatory bail, submits that the fact regarding the petitioner suffering from cancer has already been recorded in the order dated 03.09.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 2752/2024. Otherwise also, there is serious allegation against the petitioner as would be evident from the contents of the FIR itself. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that the petitioner has not made out any fresh ground for reconsideration of his prayer for anticipatory bail, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him in connection with Senha P.S. Case No. 114/2023. 6. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the above named petitioner is rejected. Satish/- (RAJESH SHANKAR, J)
