This Court, vide order dated 16.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 3098 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Karim Khan, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned 7th Session Judge, Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 09.01.2025 has requested for grant of three months time for KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case, the statement of a total of 12 prosecution witnesses and 16 witnesses have been recorded. The prosecution has presented a trial program to record the testimony of 65 witnesses. The testimony of important witnesses are still pending and the date fixed for the accused's statement, defence evidence and final arguments. In this situation, it seems unlikely that the case can be concluded within the stipulated time. Hence, she prays for grant of further three months time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
