Case No. 20 of 2020, corresponding to G.R. No.429 of 2020, for the offences registered under Sections 304(b)/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of Sri S.R. Tigga, learned J. M. 1st Class, Hazaribag. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Gosiya Praveen, who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. From perusal of postmortem report, it appears that the victim had sustained abrasion on right cheek and right side of nasal bridge. It is apparent that before hanging, the victim was subjected to torture. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
